Laura qualified with an MSc in Physiotherapy from King’s College London and has been working for over 10 years in both the NHS and private sporting sector.
Specialising as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the NHS across London and the South East she has gained varied experience treating spinal, upper limb and lower limb conditions, post orthopaedic and oncology surgery, hand injuries, hydrotherapy, as well as treating complex conditions such as dizziness, scoliosis and TMJ.
Laura’s sports experience includes working for Brighton Marathon Medical Team and Millwall Rugby Club, and she enjoys working in clinic with adult and youth swimmers, triathletes, runners, dancers and performers, and team sports athletes. She is passionate about injury prevention and sports rehabilitation after injury and surgery. She uses her breadth of hands on treatment approaches from spinal mobilisation to acupuncture, and soft tissue techniques alongside strength and conditioning, neuromuscular training and sporting specific rehab to optimise your performance and get you back to doing what you love most. Having studied psychology as her first degree, she believes in addressing any worries you have in returning to sport after injury and in educating you about your injury. As a mum she enjoys treating MSK conditions in pregnancy and postnatally and helping you to push your fitness goals.
Laura is an APPI Pilates Instructor with further training in ante and post natal pilates, pilates for scoliosis and triathlon. She has extensive experience teaching class and one to one matwork, equipment and reformer, using pilates to build and challenge your dynamic strength and control and tailoring a program to your body and goals.
She is passionate about helping her clients to embrace an active lifestyle , enjoys dance, perfecting her handstand, running, swimming and getting out on the water to SUP.
