Brighton physio – physiotherapy services
Physiotherapy is a professional, highly credible and natural medical treatment option.
The primary focus of physiotherapy is the restoration of function. The Chartered Physiotherapists at Reach Physiotherapy assess and diagnose the problem, then plan and administer treatment programs that aim to restore function or minimise dysfunction after disease or injury. Here at Reach Physiotherapy Brighton, all of our therapists are trained in the following aspects of care to help our clients achieve their goals.
Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy involves the use of the physiotherapist’s hands to mobilise the joints of the spine and extremities, create movement in nerve tissue or facilitate the activation, flexibility and normal tone of muscle. Several different techniques can be used to restore normal motion (not too much, not too little) and regain control of that motion. This allows each region of the body to move fully, efficiently and safely.

Acupuncture & Intramuscular Stimulation
The use of needles in patient treatment has been around for over 3000 years so they must have been onto something. The physios at Reach Physiotherapy employ traditional techniques along with more contemporary dry needling styles, such as intramuscular stimulation, to provide pain relief, promote tissue healing and as an adjunct to other treatment techniques.

Electrotherapy
Electrotherapy treatments include
- Interferential (IFC)
- Transcutaneous Nerve Stimulation (TNS)
- Laser
- Ultrasound
